The highlight is the spectacular indoor 50' heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi hot tub. The Club is connected to the two residential towers by surface walks and underground, lighted hallways.
The Lakeview Lounge is the natural gathering place at Club Ennisclare with panoramic views of Lake Ontario and all the comforts wanted for any social events. Social events are frequent and include a glee club, theatre outings and card clubs.
All suites own at least one parking space in the secure parking area under each building. A bicycle rack is adjacent to the guest parking area at the rear of each building. There is another bicycle rack inside the parking garage and a room where bicycles are kept.
Each suite also has a locker in the basement where excess items can be stored. Enjoy the convenience of a car washing bay in the garage.
As stated in the Declaration, no dogs, with the exception of guide dogs or service animals, identified as such, are permitted on the property. Only cats and small birds, not to exceed two of either per dwelling unit, may be kept as pets on the property.
Security is provided from a gatehouse, manned twenty-four hours a day, and by video cameras and security access cards. The gatehouse staff will also sign for small packages and hold them for pickup by residents. An in-suite intrusion alarm system, activated by individual residents, is monitored from the gatehouse. Each suite also has an emergency communication system and smoke detectors. A Superintendent resides on-site in each of the two Ennisclare towers. The cost of security is share by residents of the two buildings.
The two towers of Ennisclare II On the Lake are administered by separate condominium corporations, HCC 114 (2180) and HCC 129 (2170). The expenses are shared for joint facilities such as the lounge, sports and fitness facilities, the gardens and security.
The monthly condo fee covers everything except property taxes, telephone and internet. Services included in the fee are: heat, hydro, water, air conditioning, cable TV, club Ennisclare, swimming pool, fitness rooms, security, gardens and snow removal. Each suite has individual control of heating and air conditioning. Suite owners are responsible for their own heating/cooling in-suite units.
Each corporation has its own Board of Directors supported by committees - all volunteers. Day-to-day management is contracted to a professional management company with on-site offices and personnel.
Services such as housekeeping, in-suite maintenance, or medical services are not provided. It is the responsibility of the residents and their family to arrange such personal services if and when needed.
